Korrie Sparks
OTD, OTR/L · Founder
As a doctor of occupational therapy, Korrie helps children feel confident, grounded, and at home in their bodies — drawing on Ayres Sensory Integration® and mindfulness-based techniques to support nervous system organization for higher-level skills: attention, emotional regulation, and motor planning.
Korrie is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), trained in DIRFloortime® play therapy, the Zones of Regulation, the Alert Program®, Social Thinking curriculum, and CranialSacral Therapy (Upledger CST1). She completed Forest School Teacher Training in Scotland, UK, and holds her doctorate from USC (2013), where her doctoral work included developing a school-based mindfulness program for over 100 kindergarteners.
Before opening Sparks OT's Boulder clinic in 2023, Korrie worked in private practice, school districts, and pediatric rehabilitation across Southern California. She is a first-generation student of Dr. A. Jean Ayres through her close mentor, Dr. Susanne Smith Roley.
Outside the clinic, Korrie loves adventures in nature, cooking, dancing, and walking through Boulder with her miniature dachshund, Darcy.
